Settings is where you manage the categories used to classify your transactions and budgets.

Category management

Create and maintain the categories that match how you manage your money.

  • View all your categories, grouped by type (income and expense).
  • Create a new category — give it a name and set whether it applies to income or expenses.
  • Edit a category's name or type.
  • Delete categories you no longer need (with a confirmation step).

Categories are shared across Transactions, Budgets, and Reports. Renaming a category updates it everywhere instantly.

When you import a CSV, any categories in the file that don't already exist are created automatically and will appear here afterwards.
